In the Garden
Compact Oregano only grows to a height of 6 inches so if you don’t have much garden space to work with then this is the perfect plant for you. It will produce small pink or white flowers and is very fragrant making it a great addition to your garden. Plant it in the full sun and be careful not to overwater because it is very dense and will rot with too much moisture.
Plant Uses
Compact Oregano is a low growing plant that can be used as a landscape plant or in the kitchen. As a landscape plant, it is commonly used along borders and edges but it also looks great in a container or in a rock gardern. Like other types of Oregano, it is very fragrant and has a peppery taste that is popular in Italian and Meditteranean cooking.
